I truly believe in the Power of WE. I worked with a number of San Bernardino residents to create WE ARE THE CHANGE; a community-based group focused on cleaning up our city and beautifying our community.
Community Clean-UpsService to Community As member of a local Rotary Service Club, I volunteer with RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, a leadership development program for young people, typically aged 14-30, sponsored by Rotary clubs and districts. It aims to provide leadership training and experiences for selected youth, helping them develop skills like communication, problem-solving, and ethical leadership. RYLA events vary in format, including seminars, retreats, and camps, and often involve presentations, activities, and workshops.
Youth LeadershipRotary Youth Leadership Awards One of my passions is supporting our vulnerable populations. I work with staff at the San Bernardino Community Hospital, Dignity Health, Post-Acute Center and host a Christmas Pajama Drive for children who are born with severe health conditions. I work with the medical staff to give these children gifts during the Christmas season.
